Congress has implemented a new law requiring all financial institutions to have their members "opt in" to receive Courtesy Pay, which goes into effect on August 15, 2010. This means that in order for CUNJ to cover a member’s overdraft for one-time debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals, they must give us written or verbal authorization.
