What are e-Statements?
An e-Statement is an electronic version of your statement accessible on the internet. You can view and print your statement right from your computer.
Will my e-Statement look the same as my paper statement?
Yes. Your e-Statement looks exactly like your paper statement.
How do I sign up for e-Statements?
In order to sign up for this service, you must have a valid e-mail address and do the following:
- Log into Internet Banking
- Click on the User Options tab
- Click Online Statement Options from the list
- Select Waive the mailing of your monthly paper statement.
- Click the Change Online Statement Options button
- Click the Account Access tab
- Read and accept the Online Statements Disclosure
How long will it take to begin accessing e-Statements?
Once you have signed up, you will gain access the following month. For example, if you sign up in January, you will receive a February e-Statement.
Do I need special software in order to view my statements?
In order to view your e-Statement, you must have Adobe® Acrobat® TM Reader. You can download a free
copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader by
clicking here.
Is my e-Statement information safe for viewing over the Internet?
We use the latest Internet technology and techniques to ensure that your statement information is as secure as possible. e-Statements are viewed on a secure server.
How will I know when my statement is available?
Each month you will receive an e-mail notification once the statements are ready for viewing.
Will I continue to receive my paper statement in the mail if I sign up for e-Statements?
No.
What if I need a paper copy of my statement?
Members can print their e-Statements from their personal computers. Members can request a copy of their statement for a nominal fee.
Can I receive a paper statement as well as an electronic statement?
No, you cannot receive both types of statements.
What if my e-mail address changes or becomes invalid?
If your e-mail changes, you will be required to update your e-mail address on our system. Failure to update your address may result in e-mail delivery issues and the termination of your e-Statements service, in which case you will automatically be switched back to the paper version of your statement. You may update your e-mail address under the User Options tab in Internet Banking. There will be a $6.00 monthly fee for bad e-mail addresses.
How long are my e-Statements saved online?
Statements from January 2010 through the present are available to view online.
What if I want to cancel receiving e-Statements?
- Log into Internet Banking
- Click on the User Options tab
- Click Online Statement Options from the list
- Select Receive your monthly paper statement.
- Click the Change Online Statement Options button
Or, you can call the credit union and request the service to be stopped. It takes one statement cycle to cancel.
