If you qualify for a federal student loan, Credit Union of New Jersey can help. Our participation in the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program allows us to be your partner in education. Choose from three types of loans or a combination that meets your exact needs:

Subsidized Federal Stafford Loan

• Undergraduate, graduate and professional students
• Based on financial need
• Awarded through the Financial Aid process
• Government subsidizes interest while student is in school

Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan

• Undergraduate, graduate and professional students
• Awarded through the Financial Aid process
• Not based on financial need
• Student pays interest (deferments available)

The Federal Plus Loan

• Designed for parents of college students
• Not awarded through the Financial Aid process
• Not based on financial need
• Apply directly through Credit Union of New Jersey
